HDL was founded in 1985 by a university professor who developed China’s first digital dimming controller. Since then, the company has evolved from a pioneer in lighting control into a globally trusted provider of building automation solutions for homes, hotels, and commercial buildings. In 2006, HDL became the first Chinese company to join the KNX Association. Just three years later, we launched China’s first complete KNX product line, playing a key role in accelerating the adoption of KNX technology in the region. In 2017, we further strengthened our capabilities by establishing a KNX-certified testing lab to ensure product stability and system compatibility. With strong in-house R&D, modern manufacturing facilities, and rigorous quality control, HDL provides flexible, reliable automation solutions tailored to diverse technical and design requirements. To date, our technologies have been applied in over 500,000 projects across more than 100 countries.
